NEW GPS location based 'false muting' via SpotLocks™

The V1 Companion™ is an app designed to enhance your driving experience and maximize the potential of your V1 radar detector. With its intelligent alerts and advanced muting capabilities, this app takes situational awareness to a whole new level. It offers a complete solution for V1 users.

The alerting and muting systems of the V1 Companion™ are perfectly optimized for each V1 platform. Through intelligent voice announcements and on-screen visuals, this app will keep you informed and aware of your surroundings at all times.

The V1 Companion™ boasts a wide range of features, including:

 <li>SpotLocks™: This feature allows for location-based false silencing, providing an exceptional level of accuracy and ease. You can activate the intelligent location-based learning feature or manually lock or unlock locations from the main alert screen.</li>
 <li>View and modify the internal hardware settings of your V1 radar detector directly within the app. There's no need to exit the app and use a separate connection app anymore.</li>
 <li>The ONLY iOS app with "Dynamic Volume Control" specifically designed for V1 Gen2. This innovative feature completely silences unwanted alerts, eliminating the initial audio blip that accompanies false alerts.</li>
 <li>Play detector tones through the app.</li>
 <li>'GPS Warmup' option keeps the detector quiet for a user-defined number of seconds or until a GPS connection is established with your iPhone. This is particularly useful in parking garages and similar environments.</li>
 <li>'Proximity' meter allows you to gauge the distance between your vehicle and potential threats or signals.</li>
 <li>V1 Firmware version check with notifications for new firmware updates.</li>
 <li>'K &amp; X falses in area' meter provides information on the number of false alerts in your vicinity.</li>
 <li>'Custom Phrases' allow for personalized audio announcements of threats.</li>
 <li>High-resolution meters display the front and rear signal strengths of the priority alert, providing more detailed information than the limited number of bars on the V1 display.</li>
 <li>Customizable heads up display (HUD) enhances visibility and allows for easy access to critical information.</li>
 <li>The HUD displays the band, signal strength, frequency, and direction of the priority alert, as well as secondary alerts' bands, signal strengths, frequencies, bogey counts, and directions.</li>
 <li>Band priority mode lets you prioritize specific bands for improved detection accuracy.</li>
 <li>Mute rear K &amp; X band signals to reduce unnecessary alerts.</li>
 <li>Advanced BSM/CAS/Ka False Muting optimizes muting capabilities for each V1 platform.</li>
 <li>'Ghost' muting quiets false alerts when you are traveling behind a vehicle that emits false signals.</li>
 <li>"Passive Mute™" feature automatically quiets the V1 below user-set speeds and during weak K &amp; X signals.</li>
 <li>Total bogey count display surpassing the V1's limit of 9.</li>
 <li>Vehicle speed (MPH or KMH) display for added convenience.</li>
 <li>Mute status with the ability to manually mute/unmute alerts as needed.</li>
 <li>Detailed and intelligent voice announcements provide direction, band, frequency, strength, number of alerts, occurrences of mixed signals, and more.</li>
 <li>V1 mode display allows for easy toggling between different operating modes.</li>
 <li>Automatic muting of Ka, K, and X bands with user-defined time intervals before muting.</li>
 <li>'Reduce Speed' notification alerts you when the vehicle is exceeding a user-defined speed limit.</li>
 <li>‘Visual Awareness™’ flashes the V1 display slowly when the "Passive Mute™" system is actively muting.</li>
 <li>Priority ‘Visual Awareness™’ rapidly flashes the V1 display after muting a Ka signal.</li>
 <li>'Urgency Alerts™' unmute growing threats and announce them through voice and notifications.</li>
 <li>'Alert History' allows you to review past alerts with detailed information about each encounter.</li>
 <li>'Dark Mode' support for use with V1 concealed display and/or iPhone as the main display.</li>
 <li>Compass heading display to assist with navigation.</li>
 <li>Muting of Ka false signals from older, cheaper detectors to reduce unnecessary alerts.</li>
 <li>'J-Out' alert notifies you when encountering Ka false alerts.</li>
 <li>Imperial/metric unit system support based on your preference.</li>
 <li>Detailed trip summary at the end of each ride, including duration, distance, alerts, muting statistics, battery status, and more.</li>
 <li>Automatic connection to Bluetooth enabled V1 radar detectors (compatible with V1G2 and V1 detectors with a Bluetooth LE Dongle).</li>
 <li>iPhone and Apple Watch notifications provide information on direction, band, and frequency of each alert.</li>
 <li>Tips/Help system for easy navigation and understanding of all features.</li>
</ul>

Please note that this app requires a Valentine One V1G2 or V1 Radar Detector that is compatible with Valentine Research's Bluetooth LE Dongle. To ensure compatibility with the V1 Companion App, please make sure to have Valentine Research's V1Connection App operational in advance, which is freely available in the App Store.
