The V1 Companion™ is an app designed to enhance your driving experience and maximize the potential of your V1 radar detector. With its intelligent alerts and advanced muting capabilities, this app takes situational awareness to a whole new level. It offers a complete solution for V1 users.

The alerting and muting systems of the V1 Companion™ are perfectly optimized for each V1 platform. Through intelligent voice announcements and on-screen visuals, this app will keep you informed and aware of your surroundings at all times.

The V1 Companion™ boasts a wide range of features, including:

• SpotLocks™: This feature allows for location-based false silencing, providing an exceptional level of accuracy and ease. You can activate the intelligent location-based learning feature or manually lock or unlock locations from the main alert screen.
• View and modify the internal hardware settings of your V1 radar detector directly within the app. There's no need to exit the app and use a separate connection app anymore.
• The ONLY iOS app with "Dynamic Volume Control" specifically designed for V1 Gen2. This innovative feature completely silences unwanted alerts, eliminating the initial audio blip that accompanies false alerts.
• Play detector tones through the app.
• 'GPS Warmup' option keeps the detector quiet for a user-defined number of seconds or until a GPS connection is established with your iPhone. This is particularly useful in parking garages and similar environments.
• 'Proximity' meter allows you to gauge the distance between your vehicle and potential threats or signals.
• V1 Firmware version check with notifications for new firmware updates.
• 'K & X falses in area' meter provides information on the number of false alerts in your vicinity.
• 'Custom Phrases' allow for personalized audio announcements of threats.
• High-resolution meters display the front and rear signal strengths of the priority alert, providing more detailed information than the limited number of bars on the V1 display.
• Customizable heads up display (HUD) enhances visibility and allows for easy access to critical information.

Please note that this app requires a Valentine One V1G2 or V1 Radar Detector that is compatible with Valentine Research's Bluetooth LE Dongle. To ensure compatibility with the V1 Companion App, please make sure to have Valentine Research's V1Connection App operational in advance, which is freely available in the App Store.
